在Sloaris 10 上...要使用ping 的話...如果不加指令...就會出現這樣＃ping google.com
google.com is alive

所以要加上 -s 才能一直回應
＃ping -s google.com
PING google.com: 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 74.125.224.116: icmp_seq=0. time=22.923 ms
64 bytes from 74.125.224.116: icmp_seq=1. time=21.722 ms
64 bytes from 74.125.224.116: icmp_seq=2. time=21.510 ms

使用 ifconfig 的時後...也是要加指令才可以看#ifconfig -a

至於有關ip的三個基本設定值(ip, netmask, gw) 則是放在三個不同的檔案裡
IP： /etc/hosts
netmask： /etc/netmasks
gw： /etc/defaultrouter
