一心二用的 "超人"supertasker
<P>左手畫圓、右手畫方這樣的場景大家在電視劇裏都見過吧。</P>

<P>專業人士把這樣的表現描述為“分配注意力的能力很強”，也就是說，這些人能夠同時關注不同的兩件事，而且還能把它們都做好。</P>
<P> </P>
<P>用我們今天要說的這個詞來表示，他們就是supertasker了。</P>

<P>The term "<STRONG>supertasker</STRONG>" is given to individuals able to successfully accomplish two or more tasks at once—a quality possessed by less than 2.5 percent of people.</P>

<P>Supertasker（超級工作者）這個詞是用來指代那些能夠同時成功完成兩件以上任務的人，具備這種素質的人在全部人口中所佔的比例不到2.5％。</P>

<P> A new University of Utah study on distraction in the driver's seat finds that a very small percentage of participants were able to do other things successfully while driving (in the study, it was solving math problems and memorizing words) without a drop in performance on any task. In fact, some of these supertaskers performed better while multitasking than they did while completing the tasks alone.</P>

<P> 美國猶他大學新近一項針對開車時一心二用的研究發現，確實有很少一部分人能夠在開車的同時完成其他任務（在該研究中，駕車者需要解答數學問題，還要背單詞），而且各項任務都未出差錯。事實上，有些超級工作者在一心二用時完成任務的表現比單獨完成一件任務時要更好。</P>
