看到上面這張圖片，你一定會認同孔雀蜘蛛是世界上最漂亮的蜘蛛。雄性孔雀蜘蛛往往會利用其豔麗的色彩和條紋來吸引異性，尋找女朋友。爲了能夠找到交尾對象，雄性孔雀蜘蛛會故意在雌性蜘蛛面前撓手弄姿，展示其美麗的腹部，並不斷左右搖擺，就好象孔雀開屏一樣。<br>

孔雀蜘蛛也是跳蛛的一種，它們的體型非常小，身體的直徑不超過0.2英寸（5毫米左右）。這種喜歡賣弄風騷的蜘蛛一般只生活於澳大利亞中部地區。<br>
