舍利 <br />
[梵sarīra;Buddhist relics] <br />
又作「舍利子」。意為屍體或身骨,佛教稱釋迦牟尼遺體火焚後結成的珠狀物。後來也指高僧火化剩下的骨燼。 <br />
舍利子的各種現象都表明不可能是結石，學醫的應該明白結石的外觀以及物理*能。結實主要成分是鈣質或金屬鹽沉積，形態和水垢相似，也很易碎，這些東西在高溫下都會變成粉末狀的的氧化物。結石病人數以千萬，但只有修行者才會有舍利子。大德的舌頭，心，等沒有骨質的軟組織也可火化不壞形成舍利子。連念佛鸚鵡的舌頭也能成舍利.。何況體內結石數量及其小，否則會危及生命，但是有時候出現舍利子的數量及其驚人，而且色彩和形態各異。有的舍利子硬度極高，用鐵錘敲打都錘砧俱陷，而絲毫無損。並不是常年吃齋和尚才會有。僅僅皈依一年往生的在家居士，焚化後遺骨上也出現了舍利子。 <br />
當然，也有一部分所謂的「舍利」確實是沒有完全燒化的骨質和牙齒，但結石是不可能經受焚化後成為「舍利」的. <br />
有些人用科學的名義把舍利子解釋成結石，其實這種欺騙公眾的做法，這些所謂的科學其實是「偽科學」。 <br />
有的舍利子硬度極高，用鐵錘敲打都錘砧俱陷，而絲毫無損。有的舍利還會長大、生小舍利，等等等等，這些豈是現代科學所能臆測的？ </font><br />
