冰雕，是一種以冰為主要材料來雕刻的藝術形式。同其他材料的雕塑一樣，冰雕也分圓雕、浮雕和透雕三種。 <br />

<font color="Purple">1.圓雕：又稱立體造像，指不附著在任何背景上，完全獨立的可以四面欣賞的冰雕。 <br />
<br />
2.浮雕：即淺雕凸雕，在實體的表面上雕刻出具有背景的形象，也就是在平面上雕出凸起的形象，是介於圓雕和繪畫之間的雕塑藝術。 <br />

3.透雕：鏤空浮雕的背景，它介於圓雕與浮雕之間，空間感很強。</font><br />

冰雕塑與其他材質的雕塑一樣，講究工具使用、表面處理、刀痕刻跡，但由於它材質無色、透明，具有折射光線的作用，故此雕刻出的形象立體感不強，形象不夠鮮明。為了彌補這一缺陷，造型時採用石雕和木雕手法，強調體面關係，突出形體基本特徵，力求輪廓鮮明，在此基礎上，精雕細刻，或者實行兩面雕刻，使線條互相相交，雕痕縱橫交錯，在光線反射作用下，尤顯玲瓏剔透，從而取得遠視、近視俱佳的觀賞效果。<br />

因為材料的可變性和揮發性，冰雕表現出了許多難點。要仔細選擇適合冰雕的冰。理想的冰應該由純淨的水製成，這樣才有很高的透明度，還有包含儘量少的氣泡。冰雕時溫度和速度也需要考慮，以避免冰的融化。 如果不是在嚴寒地帶做冰雕，通常需要到大型冰庫裏去雕可。<br />
