這條雙頭蛇已經7歲半。它與其他雙頭動物不同，它的兩張嘴連接的是同一個胃。通常，雙頭蛇的存活期不會超過幾個月。而動物學專家估計，這條蛇還能再活10年至15年。<br />

2006年底，美國弗吉尼亞州一座奶牛場出生了一隻擁有兩張臉的小牛。這只「雙面」奶牛有兩隻鼻子、兩條舌頭，且都可以獨立活動。它看起來是「三隻眼」，但它有4只眼睛，因為它「雙面」結合處的一隻眼眶中長了兩隻眼睛。<br />
