當地時間二月十八日，美國民眾成群結隊前往加州巴加海濱的像海豹保護地，觀看像海豹一年一度來此沙灘度過生仔哺乳期。生活在太平洋裡的像海豹，曾在一百多年前受到人類毀滅性捕殺，僅剩下不足一百只。經過長時間繁殖，像海豹如今已形成總數為十六萬只的壯觀族群。<br />
