<P class="chinese chinese">當和老外講話，沒聽清楚，請他再講一遍，要怎麼問呢？ <BR>影史最賣座的電影《鐵達尼號》(Titanic)，男女主角Jack與女主角Rose在郵輪的甲板上聊天，男主角突然問女主角：Do you love him?（你愛他嗎？） <BR>Rose對這個突如其來的問題，半帶驚訝，半帶疑惑，脫口反問：Pardon me? <BR>聽不清楚，請人再說一遍，最常用的是客氣委婉語氣英文是：Pardon me? 說了這句話，你不必請他say that again，他也會再說一次。 </P>
<P class="chinese chinese">除了Pardon me, 還有Excuse me?/Sorry?，對較熟稔的老外朋友還可以用近年流行的用法Come again?和Run that by me again。 <BR>Come again? 不要誤以為是再來一次。這是老美的俚語，請人家再講一遍，也隱涵不太相信聽到的話。 <BR>影帝艾爾帕希諾Al Pacino在《奪命煙幕》(The Insider)就用了Come again，要求對方再講一次。 </P>

<P class="chinese chinese">老外之間聽不清楚對方說的話，要求對方複述一遍，還有句常用口語：Run that by me again。 <BR>這句語與跑步無關. Run that by me again是美國流行話，現在其他英語國家的人也都用了。這句話有時也會稍作變化，例如你想說： <BR>"請把姓名、地址重複一遍，好嗎？"可以這麼講：Just run that name and address by again, will you? </P>
