Google URL Shortener - Google也推縮址服務
<P>Google在本週一 (12/14)時更新了旗下Google Toolbar以及FeedBurner功能，新增加了名為「<A href="http://goo.gl/" target=_blank><B>Google URL Shortener</B></A>」的縮址服務。 縮短網址有什麼樣的好處，相信許多朋友在使用了<A href="http://mag.udn.com/mag/digital/storypage.jsp?f_MAIN_ID=322&f_SUB_ID=2948&f_ART_ID=89942" target=_blank><B>TinyURL</B></A>、<A href="http://mag.udn.com/mag/digital/storypage.jsp?f_MAIN_ID=322&f_SUB_ID=2948&f_ART_ID=164678" target=_blank><B>PPT</B></A>等縮址網站服務之後，都會了解各中好處，比方說隱藏原始網址內容、精簡網頁網址內容或者讓內容頁面更為簡單…等。 </P>

<P>而此次Google也投身加入縮址服務，產生的網址均會以「<A href="http://goo.gl/" target=_blank>http://goo.gl/</A>」作為開頭。透過Google背後強大的儲存與搜尋能力，這些縮址內容必然可以被更仔細地保存於網路，同時提供更安全 (Google會確認所縮址的網頁內容是否安全)、快速的連結。 不過，目前此項服務並非以獨立運作推出，而是配合Google Toolbar或是FeedBurner執行，但Google<A href="http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/12/making-urls-shorter-for-google-toolbar.html" target=_blank><B>在部落格中也說明</B></A>︰如果市場反應良好，他們也會考慮讓這項服務可獨立運作。</P>
